Description of the project: Tripura State Council for Science and Technology (TSCST) is developing a science city complex which is named as Vigyan Gram. The project is being developed on 15 acres(?) of land and is stated to house
:
- A 12 m. dome planetarium
- A 3D Theatre
- Seven thematic exhibition galleries covering different aspects of science
- An outdoor exhibit complex area
- An entertainment park
Creative Museum Designers (CMD) is entrusted with different work of the Vigyan Gram both in the capacity of a consultant and exhibition developer.
Present status: The present status of the project is as follows:
- CMD is now engaged in developing a 3D Theatre, planetarium and exhibition galleries like fun science etc.
- Fabrication of exhibits is in progress.
- The fun science gallery is proposed to be accommodated with 50 exhibits.
- Fabrication of 15 exhibits has already done.
