Description of the project: Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre (TNSTC) entrusted Creative Museum Designers (CMD) with the work of design, development and commissioning Hall of Nuclear Power at its own science centre. The exhibition gallery is in overall area of 6,500 sq.ft. The project is being funded by Nuclear Power Corporation of India.
In today’s energy-hungry world nuclear power is the ultimate and inevitable alternate to the traditional fossil-fuel sources. Nuclear power offers an environmentally clear pollution free energy source which is at present scenario sufficient to power the complete requirement of the total world for coming few decades. However, in the general psyche of the public nuclear power is co-terminus to nuclear bomb and we have wrong perceptions of it brings ultimately the destruction of the civilization. The exhibition explores the myth of the general public and presents the case of nuclear power in a very rational and scientific base, explaining each and every aspect of the nuclear power generation process.

Present Status: The project completed and handed over on 10th August, 2016.
