Creative Museum Designers (CMD) was established in October, 2011 as a Section 25 company under Companies Act 1956 and later converted into Section 8 company under Companies Act, 2013 guaranteed by National Council of Science Museums. NCSM, an autonomous organistion under Ministry of Culture, is a pioneer in the field of science communication and science education through a non-formal platform by establishing Science Centres. CMD was created with an objective of developing Science Museums, Science Centres, Planetaria and other Knowledge Centres and also for developing galleries on various themes for Science Museums & various other museums all over India to various clients on turnkey basis. The company was mainly established for a noble cause of taking science and art to the public by developing centres using their expertise. I am proud to inform you that CMD has successfully completed 10 years of is existence. Over the years, the company has invested in the establishment of its own research laboratory, production facility and most importantly in generating a pool of highly creative, efficient and professional manpower. During these 10 years, the company has gathered experience and honed the skills of the employees of CMD to cater to the needs of modern day clients. The client base of CMD has gradually increased during the years with the improvement in the infrastructural base. Though the company has started on a humble note with a loan amount of Rs.25 lakhs provided by NCSM, the company gradually grew in its size and could make a turnover of about Rs.10 crores consistently for last three years. The company has successfully completed many projects to the satisfaction of the clients which is possible due to the dedication, passion and wholehearted effort put by the staff, NCSM and other stakeholders. My sincere and heartfelt thanks are with them for their patronage and continued support to achieve the goals of CMD. I am confident that the company will be able to achieve greater heights in future.
