Executive Summary: Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was the face of communal harmony in modern India. As a renowned scholar and an active political leader, he had a charismatic personality right from the beginning. He was profoundly inspired by Gandhi and was an active supporter of the latter’s non-violence, civil disobedience and Non-co-operation movement. For his unsurpassable contribution as a nationalist revolutionary and his constant support for a vision of united and free India, he was posthumously conferred with the prestigious Bharat Ratna—India’s highest civilian award—in 1992.
With the noble intention to generate awareness and curiosity among people about the great leader Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, his life, struggle for freedom of India and his noble ideas to make India a secular country, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies proposed to establish a biographical museum based on the life of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. For that reason, they approached to Creative Museum Designers (CMD) to renovate the existing museum. This museum will be the storehouse of personal belongings of Maulana Azad and other valuables like important letters, documents, photographs etc.

Conclusion: The proposed museum will be a unique way through which it will spread the message of Maulana Azad. It will not only showcase the historical documents, manuscripts, artefacts and other rare articles which are important but will also convey the mes­sage to the common people through interactive exhibits and inter­esting programmes.
