Executive Summary: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) is an eminent Educational Trust of India. The Bhavan believes that there are elements in all cultures which transcends all barriers and knits people together. The ideal of the Bhavan is:
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: “The world is One Family”.
Even though the organization is continuously presenting its views to the students and people through education via its manifold institutions, it now intends to set up two permanent exhibition halls, comprehensive set up being named as
‘The Halls of Harmony’. Being entrusted by BVB, Trissur centre,
Creative Museum Designers (CMD) has prepared a Detailed Project Report (DPR) containing history of the organization, aims and objectives of the organization, financial estimation and budget, detailed plan and rendered views of the museum building, galleries, interior and display, mode of display, estimation of cost etc.
Names of the Galleries: CMD has prepared the DPR containing the blue print of the following six galleries:
- Commonality of Creation Myths
- Origin of Universe
- Genesis of life
- The story of Mankind
- First farmers
- India- the land of plurality
Conclusion: The main purpose of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is to provide a modern bridge to span the past, the present and the future, built on strong foundation of the fundamental values of life. The proposed Museum will be a unique way through which the Bhavan will spread the message of universal unity and love for mankind. The Museum will not only help to inculcate awareness among the present generations but will also play a vital role in preserving all the tangible & intangible socio-cultural aspects and values.
